Plates
The plates are mostly made using terre sigillate technique. Surface of an object is precisely smoothed and additionaly glazed with terre sigillate, what gives the object smooth touch and satin shine. Most of times a lace is built into the plates, the lace is also entirely made by Darinka Lapajne. These are the patterns of defined shapes, esthetic completion, mild structures, special kind of texture and thoughtfully choosed color values, which give the creations a sense of festivity. Concave and convex surfaces of various sensibly shaped bowls, vases , plates and table lamps, gain a magnificent fragment of refined, filigraned action, as on the surface as in the base mater itself, into which the imprint reaches. Concentrate with tactile seduction represents a perfect opposite of smoother holeness and this way its value is even more expressed.
